Is there an obligation to build on either the building or plantation plots?back to top
No, there isn't. If you have bought a building or agricultural crop lot in one of the locations that we have on offer, you are not obliged to build on it. You can keep the property as a pure investment and then resell it at a later stage.

How much of my development plot can I build on?back to top
This depends on the lot zoning - please ask your consultant and they will detail the zoning (agricultural or conodominum) and the permission with each
What about public utilities such as gas, water, electricity, telephone and internet?back to top
Supply of water, electricity, telephone and internet up to the boundary of each lot. The cost for the connection to your property will be yours to bear. Gas mains are not available, however many home owners in Costa Rica use large cylinder gas supplies located outside their homes
Will a notary deed be drafted for the building plot that I buy?back to top
Yes, a notary deed for the purchased building plot will be drafted and entered into the land register.
Can I sell my crops, timber or building plot at any time I decide to do so?back to top
Yes, you can sell your timber or development plot at any time. You can do this yourself, via a local real estate agent or you can allow us to sell it on your behalf.

Yes, it is possible. The deed of purchase will be registered in the name of your child, but will be signed by you. You remain responsible until your child reaches the age of 18.
